When did the pumpkin get invited to Apple Day? Is no one else outraged about this? I mean sure, pumpkins are ok and all, but as long as I've worked here, it's been Apple Day.

I remember that one year there was an Apple Day in early September, and there was a Pumpkin day in late October. Maybe it was decided that this was just too many day for the hard-working scientists.
Nothing is sacred, though.
