The White Squirrel

If John Webster had ever been to Ontario, there's a good chance he might have written a tragic play about the white squirrel of Exeter. White squirrels, though rare, can be found in other pockets of North America, and indeed several other cities (e.g., Olney, Illinois; Marionville, Missouri; and Brevard, North Carolina) call themselves Home of the White Squirrels, but the lovely white squirrels of Exeter are unique in that they are not albino--they have dark eyes. Exeter, Ontario is only about a nine hour drive from the Center. Let's go!

Is that a doctored photo?

NO way! the White Squirrel of Exeter is a sensitive species who frequently can be seen holding large daisies, to give to potential mates as well as human observers during the rutting season

That's such a double standard. Do you think it would be okay for a city to call itself, "Home of the White People"?

Does the white squirrel likes to guard its nuts?

The white squirel uses a special contraption known as the nutguard that he wears when playing sports and the like.
